Institute of Antennas and Electromagnetic Scattering

Founded in 1987, the Institute of Antennas and Electromagnetic Scattering is one of the earliest institutes focusing on antenna design and electromagnetic scattering problems. The institute is the supporting unit of the Key Laboratory of Antennas and Microwave Technology (Xi'an Branch), the State Key Discipline of "Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology". There are 51 professional teachers in the institute, including 13 professors, 21 associate professors and 9 assistant professors. More than 40 teachers hold the Ph.D. degree. The research areas cover wide area, include but not limited to antenna design, antenna measurement, electromagnetic scattering and related problems. The Institute of Antennas and Electromagnetic Scattering is an important teaching and research branch in electromagnetic field area and more than 300 postgraduate students pursue their master and Ph.D. degree here.
